An unscented, extremely gentle and non-irritating bar formulated for daily cleansing.
Infused with calming chamomile flowers and soothing calendula petals, this soap is meant to nurture and protect the most delicate of skin types. It contains fragrant raw oils and butters that impart a faint natural scent to the final bar, but it doesn't contain any essential oils in order to keep it as non-irritating as possible.
Skin types: This soap is a wonderful option for young ones, expecting mamas, and those with sensitive skin.
Scent profile: Unscented; retains a slight aroma of the raw oils and butters in the formula.
Tips and tricks:
Gentle and non-drying enough to be used as a facial soap too.
Makes a great shaving soap due to its clay content.
If using as a shampoo bar, be sure to follow with an acidic rinse.
Ingredients: Olive oil*, distilled water, coconut oil*°, shea butter*, cocoa butter*°, sodium hydroxide, apricot kernel oil*, coconut butter*, castor oil*, calendula flowers*, chamomile flowers*, kaolin clay, sea salt (*organic, °fair trade)
Directions (body): Lather with water between hands or using a loofah, sponge, or washcloth and gently massage onto skin, then rinse clean. Moisturize with a gentle, unscented body oil.
Directions (hair): Lather with water between hands or apply bar directly to entire length of wet hair. Massage lather onto scalp and hair, then rinse clean. Repeat if desired. Follow with an acidic rinse.
To extend the life span of this soap, store on a soap dish in between uses to allow it to fully dry. For external use only. Always perform a patch test and discontinue use if irritation occurs.
