Our mission is three-fold:
To minimize our environmental impact and to make tangible, positive contributions to critical natural ecosystems. Our goal is to divert 100% of our skincare product waste from landfills through thoughtful and minimal packaging as well as an incentivized container return program. We provide completely carbon neutral shipping through offsets that support sustainable forestry initiatives. For every order placed on our site, Oil + Water donates one tree to reforestation efforts in Brazil's Atlantic Forest.
To be a trusted source for high-quality, sustainably and ethically produced skincare made with minimally processed natural ingredients, which support responsible agricultural and production practices as well as fair treatment of workers. We use the finest raw, organic, food grade, wild harvested, and Fair Trade Certified ingredients available.
To make high-quality, natural skincare more accessible, because everyone deserves access to wholesome and healthy products. Our goal is to help educate consumers about natural skincare options through informational content and community engagement. We have pledged to donate one soap for every three soaps sold on our site to Win NYC, the largest provider of shelter and supportive housing for New York City's homeless families, especially women and children.
